Silvia Clo Di Gregorio directed and wrote Pineapple Chicken '98, a grotesque comedy short film supported by the Torino Piemonte Film Commission and the Italian Ministry of Culture.

The film had its international premiere at the ICFF in Toronto (July 2024) and has since been screened in the US (New York, Milwaukee), Argentina (Mar del Plata), and across Europe (Rome, Milan, London, Palermo, Bologna, Polignano, Chivasso, Fontaniva, Bergamo). The story is inspired by Silvia Clo's childhood, when her neighbors looked down on her because she went to eat Chinese food with her family.
